depending on what type of wood. If you are "Floating" a floating floor it is the easiest method of installation.
If nailing or stapling on top of a wood sub floor is the second in difficulty(make sure to have all the right tools)

We are installing a hardwood floor in a garage loft apartment. The floor will be laid out on top of ply wood. Anyone have any knowledge of how to do this properly? ei nailing, price, best type etc… thank you.

What if wood floor is being layed on cement - no joist underneath to follow.
make sure you put down a vaper barrier so your wood don't suck up moisture from the cement, Home depot sells a sub floor for cement
